Visiting Montreal

Hi to all, I fish and live in Ontario and will be visiting (driving to) Montreal for a few days in early September with an older relative from the UK. I will not be able to bring any of my watercraft, so would you good fellows be able to advise where we could go for an afternoons sport? I was thinking of a stocked trout lake. Any other suggestions though would be welcome. We will be staying in the Westmount area of the city, thank you.

Hey Malcolm, you'll have to drive a bit to find a stocked trout lake around Montreal. One thing you can do though, is reserve a trout lake in a national park near the island. They also supply a boat for a price. Here's the website link:

Take pictures and post them here if you catch!
